The Lankan Tamil minority imbroglio is getting more and more curious.
India does not want to say one way other as to whether it is going to support the resolution of the United States of America sponsored anti-Lanka resolution, oppose it or for that matter abstain at the climax of the ongoing debate in Geneva.
The Lankan Tamils will be sold down the river again by India and a huge part of the world.
The United Nations’ Human Rights’ Commission has slammed Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s army for indiscriminately killing over 40,000 innocent Tamil civilians backed by independent documented evidence.
The current clamour is only due to the fact that Tamil expatriates’ votes will decide who will win in some 600 plus marginal parliamentary constituencies in the 17 EU nations, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and several cantons of Switzerland.
Lankan regime is regularly supported financially by the doles of the US of A and the EU.
Now, China, arguably the richest nation on earth is openly backing Colombo along with the Confederation of Independent States – the new euphemism for what had been the Soviet Union.
The glaring lies of Rajapaksa:
Point one:
On May 18 2009, Lanka claimed that it killed V Prabhakaran and the rest of the gang of terrorists belonging to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam [LTTE] breaking the back of the minority separatism with an iron hand.
Question One
If that claim was true, why are over 300,000 Tamils still behind barbed wires in the name of security concerns in Lanka?
Point two:
General Sarat Fonseka was the man who was touted as the hero who had broken the back of the LTTE separatist terrorists.
He had been quoted as saying on January 18 2009 that Prabhakaran could have escaped.
Fonseka changed his tune within 36 hours.
Fonseka contested against Rajapaksa as the opposition United National Party candidate for the post of Lanka’s President, accused of electoral malpractices, lost, was arrested on charges of having indulged in corruption during his 35-year stint in the army, jailed for nearly 3 years and still not completely free!
All of a sudden, the Tamils’ issue is getting orchestrated support from all over the world.
Question Two – with a series of supplementary queries:
Whose body was shown on May 18 2009 on televisions worldwide – with Lanka claiming that it was that of Prabhakaran?
India has Prabhakaran’s fingerprints taken in 1981 and 1986.
Was a comparison ever made?
The answer: NO!
Prabhakaran’s parents were within the reach of Lankan regime.
Was a DNA report ever done and was it published?
The answer: NO!
Should the world believe a stupid television visual?
In my opinion, NO!
And here are stinking skeletons in that cupboard:
In 2008 March, V Muralitharan alias ‘Colonel’ Karuna was sentenced to 9 months’ rigorous imprisonment in the United Kingdom, after having been found guilty of entering Britain and staying with false papers.
Karuna contested that producing in court a diplomatic passport issued to him the Government of Sri Lanka and handed over by none other than Gotabaya Rajapaksa, the current Defence Minister of Lanka.
The British courts pointed out to Karuna that the passport may have been genuine but since he did not present his credentials to the Queen as any ordinary diplomat ought to despite the passage of over a year since his entry in the British Isles, the charge of having entered United Kingdom under false pretences stood proved.
Karuna was sentenced to 9 months imprisonment.
Human rights’ organisations like Amnesty International had demanded 90 years’ imprisonment for Karuna who had been accused of war crimes and worse. The pieces of evidence were cited and sourced from Lanka regime’s archives!
Karuna was miraculously set free in June 2008 before completion of the 9 month sentence.
He flew back to Lanka with official documents, was immediately made a member of parliament under the quota of the ruling Sri Lanka Freedom Party and soon made a minister with cabinet rank.
Karuna is now also a Vice President of the SLFP.
The pogrom against the Tamil militants began in August 2008.
The same month, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra travelled some 5000 km from New Delhi to meet Nalini Murugan Sri Haran – who had been found guilty of killing her father Rajiv Gandhi and whose death sentence had been commuted to life by the recommendations of none other than Sonia Gandhi, the dead man’s widow.
Priyanka is yet to tell the world why she met her father’s killer and has termed the meeting ‘something personal.’
Indo-Asian News Service – India’s second largest news agency reported Priyanka’s visit to Tamil Nadu.
At that point in time, one poor old TSV Hari was its Chennai bureau chief.
Since none of the top cops wanted to say anything on record about Priyanka’s visit to Vellore Central Prison, the visit was described as a probable pilgrimage to the then newly built Golden Temple in Vellore city.
That its God-Man founder sent a huge cache of aid to the suffering Tamils of Lanka soon afterwards whose worth worked out to a few million US Dollars is another story.
On March 1 2010, I began writing a series of blogs entitled Pardon the Gaffe [PtG].
The blog was a kind of mental rehabilitation package during my recuperative treatment in a hospital ward after a second cardiac arrest.
The blog series drilled holes into the so-called May 18 2009 assassination of the dreaded leader of the Tamil terrorist group V Prabhakaran, the man who ordered the killing of India’s former PM Rajiv Gandhi.
The hospital concerned – Aswene Soundra Hospital is owned by the brother-in-law of Union Minister P Chidambaram.

Aswene Soundra Hospital is located within 500 metres of the Lankan Deputy High Commission, is located within 1 km of the two residences of former CM Karunanidhi and the current Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu – J Jayalalithaa.
On March 7 2010, within 7 days of my first blog, police acting as per the orders of Karunanidhi took away all personal effects, medical records, laptop computer etc.
Later on, the police department admitted to doing all that in writing but continues to insist that it did not violate the human rights of a senior journalist under semi-sedation in hospital at 2-15 a.m. despite waking him up, virtually raiding a ward located on floor 3 of a hospital! That this act contributed to six more heart attacks does not concern the police.
Here is the situation in all its pristine glory – the latest being an order from the Union Home Ministry on February 25 2013!
And yes, nothing has happened, despite the journalist having lost over Rs.20 lakhs as personal losses, an entire career, a family after a painful divorce and a lot more!
For that, this is what happened to poor old TSV Hari.

Meanwhile, as India’s Home Minister, Chidambaram has gone on record several times on the floors of India’s parliament stating that the Government of India is convinced of Prabhakaran’s being killed in action.
Did Chidambaram mislead Indian Parliament?
Kindly consider this:
Indian satellite television channels showed a body purported to be that of Prabhakaran.
The Lankans initially said Prabhakaran was killed while trying to escape the battlefield, then claimed he was killed in action during army firing.
January 18 2009, General Sarat Fonseka, the Chief of Army Staff of Lanka had indicated that Prabhakaran may have escaped.
Was Fonseka persecuted and prosecuted because he had apparently let the Prabhakaran cat out of the bag?
Since the whole world accepted that story of Prabhakaran having been killed, there are only two possibilities:

Prabhakaran was killed some time before and his body disposed of. What was shown for the benefit of the cameras was a body that looked like that of Prabhakaran – after probable plastic surgery.

Prabhakaran was actually allowed to escape by none other than Fonseka as the LTTE always was close to Western Powers – especially the United Kingdom.
The second possibility seems plausible as there is a sudden spurt of concerted activity – that seems orchestrated by very committed, well-trained outfit in propaganda.
The LTTE happens to be one.
If the body shown on television May 18 2009 was not that of Prabhakaran what is the problem in anyone telling the truth?
Let us face the bitter, blunt truth.
The LTTE is responsible for deaths of innocent and not so innocent Tamils in a much larger number since 1983 than the Sinhalese regime.
This was done by using Tamil civilians as human shields.
The LTTE is clearly a terrorist organisation.
It had supplies of artillery, tanks and even the odd aircraft. So, it was not an innocent babe in the wood.
Its improvised claymore mines blew up Indian tanks to heights of 20 feet during the operations of the Indian Peace Keeping Force.
It used its female cadres dressed as school children to fling bombs into Indian army trucks that went off killing all occupants.
Naturally, when the Indian army retaliated with obvious excesses, the blame was safely shifted on to the Indian army!
The LTTE’s killing of Rajiv Gandhi actually covered up the Bofors scandal as he was the last person to know the secret of the pay offs.
The others who could have known the truth who died painfully:

Swedish PM Olof Palme obviously would have known the secret. He was murdered in 1986 and it is still an unsolved mystery as the main accused in the case has been acquitted. The accused – one Christer Peterson, a drug peddler, recently died in mysterious circumstances.

Palme’s political protégé Bernt Carlsson was killed in the Lockerbie Pan American Airways’ plane blast by terrorists from Libya. The Libyan terrorists were set free for want of evidence!

Martin Ardbo, the Managing Director of Bofors, Win Chadha, the official agent of Bofors – both died of natural causes.

The other person who can be forced to tell the truth is Ottavio Quattrochchi – a man who has been allowed to escape with a single minded devotion at the obvious orders of Sonia Gandhi.
Was Rajiv Gandhi ordered to be killed by someone in India to benefit from the cover-up of the Bofors scandal?
So who was mainly instrumental in getting the Bofors scandal leaked?
Some pointers:
The main beneficiaries of the Bofors exposure – as it turned out later – happens to be what was the Soviet Union and its current boss – former KGB head honcho Vladimir Putin whose nation continues to bag the biggest defence contracts from India.
There are many defence experts who opine that Rajiv bought the farm of the female suicide bomber Dhanu because he tried to acquire the best natural harbour in South Asia – Trincomalee for the benefit of what had been the Soviet Union.
With the advent of latest satellite technology, the Soviets no longer required Trincomalee to keep the Indian Ocean under check to balance the American base of Diego Garcia.
The Soviets lost interest in Rajiv because he began shopping in the West for arms and ammunition.
Was Rajiv was “eliminated” due to all this?
Very, very interestingly, those found guilty of having participated in the conspiracy to kill Rajiv are yet to be hung and perhaps can never be hung as doing so could render Tamil Nadu into yet another Kashmir, something that China and Pakistan want.
The DMK government was dismissed by the Chandrasekhar government that had been propped by the Congress under Rajiv Gandhi’s leadership for anti-national activity. The DMK never dared to challenge this. Within a few months, Rajiv was assassinated!
The United Front government of I.K. Gujral was pulled down by the Congress because of the refusal on the part of DMK ministers to resign from the union cabinet. And the Congress wanted the DMK members of the Union Cabinet led by Murasoli Maran to quit because the Jain Commission clearly stated that the DMK had a vital role in the conspiracy that led to the killing of Rajiv Gandhi. Now, the irony is that the DMK is the Congress Party's biggest ally!
Yet, the same DMK is the second largest component of the UPA coalition at the centre – accusing Sonia Gandhi of a double game! The other ally from Tamil Nadu is the VCK – an outfit that hails the killers of Rajiv Gandhi!

Some very, very strange points:

Rajiv Gandhi’s killers were sentenced to be hung till death by India’s Supreme Court.
Curiously, the Supreme Court judge Thomas has begun doubting the correctness of his own verdict now!

The death sentences of three persons found guilty of having participated in the murder of India’s former PM Rajiv Gandhi – viz. Murugan, Santhan and Perarivalan were confirmed way back in 1999 and their mercy pleas rejected.
But, they were never hung despite the changes of three presidents till the arrival of Pranab Mukherjee.
Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu state assembly has passed a unanimous resolution demanding the commutation of the death sentences.
This has led to popular sentiments having been whipped up in Tamil Nadu.
The parties that whip such sentiments include the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi [VCK].
Both outfits hail V Prabhakaran.
VCK boss Thol Thirumavalavan won from the Chidambaram reserve parliamentary constituency with the support of the Congress in 2009 – around the same time as the pogrom against the innocent Tamils of Lanka was underway.
Posters in Tamil Nadu proclaim Thirumavalavan as an incarnation of Prabhakaran!
Yet, Thirumavalavan is an ally of the Congress and is part of the United Progressive Alliance, whose policies are controlled by the National Advisory Council – headed by Sonia Gandhi, the widow of Rajiv Gandhi!
None in the Tamil Nadu unit of the Congress or its all India body bother to question this lacuna.

During the 2009 general elections, a whispering campaign in north India led a lot of feudal leaders to believe that Sonia Gandhi was avenging the murder of her husband’s 1991 killing.
The flies in that ointment include:

In 1991, the tide turned in favour of the Congress only because of the murder of Rajiv Gandhi. In other words, the Congress benefited from the murder.

In 2009, the Congress benefited again as stated supra. Its allies: The DMK and VCK in Tamil Nadu!

India helped Lanka to put down Tamil terrorism in military, financial and all other terms saying it is a ‘friendly’ nation and a member of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation [SAARC].
Is Lanka a friendly nation?

Lanka has allowed China to set up a military base in Hambantota in the southeast coast of the island – upsetting the relative military safety of India’s south. Lanka has been blackmailing India with that threat since 1963!

Lanka allowed Pakistani planes to refuel in Colombo during the 1965 and 1971 conflicts despite India rescuing the regime of SLFP regime led by Sirimavo Bandaranaike in 1971 from a Maoist revolution whose policies were dictated by China.

Lanka buys arms from Pakistan even now!

And Lanka provides a base for anti-Indian activity to be done in Maldives and a pro-Indian ex-President is arrested.

Rajiv Gandhi signed an accord with President JR Jayawardena way back in 1987 to solve the Lankan Tamil tangle. The whole thing revolved around the 13th Amendment to Lanka’s Constitution that necessitated the united nature of Lanka’s Tamil speaking north and north-east comprising Jaffna, Trincomalee and Batticoloa. Lankan President Rajapaksa has torn that one off saying it is not worth the ink on the paper.
Of course, Lanka can always quote that the rejection orchestrated by its Supreme Court.
Those in doubt of Lanka’s respect for the law kindly consult the female former Chief Justice of Lanka’s Supreme Court who was ‘removed’ after besmirching her moral reputation.

Rajapaksa has won 3 elections including an impossible 3rd term on the same plank as the UPA did in 2009 – that of putting down Tamil Terrorism. So, obviously, India’s ambiguous stand is helping Lanka directly and indirectly!
So why is Sonia Gandhi doing this?

Sonia was exposed as a former agent of the KGB by papers brought over to the West by former KGB boss Viktor Chebrikov a few months after Rajiv’s murder!
